Alireza Sanei: unfamiliarity with each other’s potential is one of the barriers to the development of Iran-Belarus relations

One of the barriers in the development of relations between Iran and Belarus, as well as other countries, is insufficient knowledge about each other’s capabilities and potential – as noted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus, Alireza Sanei, before the launch of a specialised exhibition of Iranian goods, held within the framework of the Belarusian Innovation and Industrial Forum

“We must try to do everything to present our capabilities to the other side for more effective development. Holding such exhibitions and events helps in solving this problem,” underlined the diplomat.

About thirty Iranian companies are taking part in the event, held at the Football Arena, presenting textile, food, engineering, IT products and other areas.

“This is only a small part of Iran’s economic capabilities,” the head of the diplomatic mission underlined. “We hope that thanks to future similar events, Iranian companies, as well as representatives of various organisations, will be able to present their goods to Belarusians. And in this way we will develop relations between our countries. The leaders of our countries have aimed us at this, since they have serious intentions in this issue.”
