Belorusneft realising pilot project on enhanced oil recovery in Indonesia
Djakarta has seen the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Belneftekhim Concern and the Ministry of Energy of Indonesia, as well as a confidentiality agreement between Pertamina Indonesian State Oil and Natural Gas Mining Company and Belorusneft Association.
Indonesia is to begin exchanging geological-technical information with Belorusneft, while inviting our specialists to use their services in the sphere of enhanced oil recovery, production intensification and engineering.
Belorusneft tells us that its visit to Indonesia allowed it to present its opportunities and successful projects, while gaining familiarity with a Pertamina well and custody transfer facility at Jirak field. Its delegation also toured Plaju Oil Refinery and a tank farm in Palembang.
To determine the effectiveness of co-operation, a pilot project is to be launched in the sphere of enhanced oil recovery.
