UN said it unable to provide Gaza with everything it needs alone

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said the Gaza Strip needs commercial supplies of essential goods. According to him, the UN is not able to provide the population of the enclave with them alone, TASS reports.

Antonio Guterres noted that it is necessary to significantly increase commercial supplies of essential goods. He said the UN and humanitarian partners alone could not provide the enclave with basic necessities, which should be available in markets to the entire population.

The UN Chief added that all parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict must respect international humanitarian law.
