UN expresses gratitude for access to refugees provided by Belarus for international organisations

The parties discussed topical issues of Belarus' co-operation with the UN and other international organisations, including on issues of socio-economic development in the context of the spread of COVID-19, as well as plans for co-operation of our country with UN agencies in 2022.

The sides exchanged views on approaches to resolving the situation of refugees and migrants who stay at the Bruzgi transport and logistics centre on the Belarusian-Polish border, while also confirming a high level of co-ordination of efforts of the Belarusian authorities, public associations and international organisations of the UN system to support refugees and migrants, including humanitarian aid.

The UN Resident Co-ordinator expressed gratitude for the access to refugees and migrants provided by the Belarusian side for international organisations.
