As TASS reports, citing an OAPEC statement, the General Secretariat ‘expresses gratitude to the UAE for the role the country has played throughout its membership in the organisation and for its active contribution in supporting joint actions by Arab countries in the oil, gas, and energy sectors’.
Recall that on May 1st, the decision of UAE to withdraw from OPEC and OPEC+ came into effect.
