Tsuran on Memory Train: people from different republics united in the project, as once in one big country

This opinion was expressed by Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Artem Tsuran during a solemn meeting in Minsk of the Memory Train participants

“Seventy-nine years ago, the first Soviet tanks entered our capital, which liberated the city and all of Belarus from Nazi invaders. Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, after the heroic pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War, wrote another important page – the restoration of our country after its almost complete destruction. What we use now, almost all of these benefits were rebuilt by them so that we could live comfortably in our cities, large and small. Our grandparents gave us one mandate: to protect our country and the world in which we live. The Memory Train project is very valuable because it has united people from different republics, as once in one big country. We say ‘no’ to fascism and Nazism, we say ‘yes’ to peace in our land.”

Artem Tsuran congratulated the children on Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and expressed confidence that they would be pleasantly impressed by their stay in Minsk, because the organisers had prepared a lot of exciting excursions for them.
