Spring has come with new interesting colour trends: from bold bright to muted shades, from pastels to classic neutrals, everyone will find something for themselves. Stylist Tonya Karpenko spoke about ready-made formulas for colour combinations and win-win looks for spring 2024.

The combination of red clothes with blue denim will be relevant this spring, such as jeans combined with a jumper or sweater in a red shade. Complement this look with any accessories, for example, black-coloured loafers, ballet flats, ankle boots, handbag or sunglasses. Another option: a denim skirt and a white T-shirt combined with a red cardigan or tweed jacket. In this case, you can complete the look with white sneakers, shoes, and a handbag. The saturated red colour has not left the fashion runways for several seasons, so the stylist advises to have at least one or two items in this colour in your wardrobe.
Combining dusty pink with wine shades, you get a beautiful stretch of colour from light to dark, so you can ‘play’ with textures, creating a beautiful contrast. For example, leather clothes, such as coats, jackets, trench coats, trousers, any shoes, bags, etc., in wine shades are an excellent option. As a rule, this shade does not go out of fashion and always compliments any outfits perfectly. Another option: leather trousers in a wine shade combined with a blouse in a dusty pink colour. You may also pay attention to a dusty pink dress and complement it with accessories or outerwear in a rich wine shade.
The classic combination of spring 2024 is black and white. It is not only a base, but also a great option for making stylish multi-layered looks. However, it is important to follow the density rule: the closer to the body, the thinner the fabric. In other cases, you can layer black and white clothes. The ‘flashy simplicity’ has also remained a trend, when images are made up of two basic elements. These colours look stylish, for example, black pleated front trousers and a tank top, white jeans and a black loose T-shirt, or white jeans with a black jacket. Moreover, the less additional accessories and details will be in such outfit, the more stylish it will look.
