Sri Lankan President congratulated Lukashenko on his election victory

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has received congratulations from Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election victory, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"On behalf of the Government and people of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, as well as on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on your re-election as President of the Republic of Belarus. Sri Lanka and Belarus enjoy long-standing friendly relations based on active interpersonal contacts, mutual respect and goodwill in many areas, as well as interaction at multilateral forums," the message of greetings reads.

The President of Sri Lanka looks forward to working closely together to develop and further strengthen mutually beneficial bilateral ties and expand co-operation in new and even larger areas in the coming years.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake wished Aleksandr Lukashenko health, success and prosperity.
