Shpakovsky: the scale of Lukashenko’s personality is much larger than modern Belarus
“I have always believed that the scale of Lukashenko’s personality is much larger than modern Belarus. It has a Soviet scope,” Advisor-Envoy of the Belarusian embassy in Russia Aleksandr Shpakovsky wrote in his Telegram channel, commenting on Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s recent speech at the World Climate Action Summit in the UAE. According to the expert, it is important that this speech was made in the presence of heads of state from almost all countries of the world.
“The will of Aleksandr Lukashenko – coupled with certain features of our national character – has led to the fact that the Republic of Belarus is known worldwide as an unconquered state that has challenged the Pax Americana world order built on lies and oppression,” noted the expert. “The Belarusian Head of State said a few years ago that the world is tired of the American stranglehold. That’s why the leaders of the Global South listened to the speech of the President of a small European country and gave it a standing ovation.”
