Series of terrorist attacks prepared by Security Service of Ukraine in Belarus

On September 1st, Belarusian border guards detained a man in the Yelsk District near the village of Skorodnoye (Gomel Region). That was Vyacheslav Borodiy, an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine and military intelligence, a trained militant with the operational codename of Mongoose, who illegally came to Belarus from Ukraine.

The man passed special training as a terrorist fighter on the basis of the training centre of the Ukrainian special services in the city of Belaya Tserkov (Kiev Region). He studied mine-blasting and shooting, topography, as well as the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. In recent years, he worked as a gamekeeper in the border areas.

As part of his work for the Security Service of Ukraine, Mongoose has recently been used as an agent for the transfer of explosives and other weapons to Belarus to organise terrorist attacks and sabotage on the territory of Belarus and Russia. Vyacheslav Borodiy had a SIG Sauer pistol with a silencer and two loaded cartridges during an arrest.
