Russian Foreign Minister: West gathering Nazi coalition against Slavs

Nazism is now being revived in connivance and even encouragement of Western neighbours – as stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a reception at the Embassy of Belarus in Russia on the occasion of Independence Day of Belarus

"The seeds of hatred, racial superiority and abolition of culture, including Slavic one, have been sown in European home which seemed to be common some time ago,” the Russian Foreign Minister stressed. "This is not hidden, and it is turning into a practical policy.”

“Of course, what the West is doing by using the Kiev regime as a tool cannot be regarded otherwise than as another attempt to assemble a Nazi coalition against the Slavic peoples, against Russia and already against Belarus. This has actually been declared officially. Of course, all the masks of tolerance, good neighbourliness, complacency, and European humanism have been dropped," Mr. Lavrov stressed.

According to the Russian Foreign Minister, everything happening between the post-Soviet countries and Europe after Belarus and Russia became independent states has turned out to be a game, a dissimulation and a cover for selfish interests of the West.

“There is no desire to implement the sworn promises to create some common spaces, promote common values on the basis of equality and mutual respect. All the agreements concluded have been destroyed," Mr. Lavrov concluded.
