Putin thanked Belarus for successful organisation and holding of 2nd CIS Games
Speaking at today’s informal meeting of the CIS leaders in St. Petersburg, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, thanked Belarus for the successful organisation and holding of the 2nd CIS Games
“Physical culture and sports are an integral part of humanitarian co-operation. I would like to thank our Belarusian colleagues for the successful organisation and holding of the 2nd CIS Games in Belarus in August," Vladimir Putin said.
The Russian leader added that innovative games of the future will be held in Kazan in February next year, “This will be a new format of sports events proposed by Russia, combining the most dynamic sports disciplines and esports.”
Vladimir Putin invited all the leaders as guests of honour to the competitions’ opening ceremony on February 21st, 2024 in Kazan.
