President of Kenya: Africa is home to world agriculture, and tractors from Belarus have a future here

The President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto, in his Twitter account spoke about the meeting with Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik, who is paying an official visit to the country these days

William Ruto said that Sergei Aleinik conveyed to him a message of goodwill from President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The head of the African state urged Belarus to position its interests, technologies and investments in Kenya and Africa.

“Kenya is the gateway to Africa, the world’s next frontier. At least 25 percent of the world’s population will be in Africa by 2050; this is where the most skilled and innovative workforce is and will continue to be. With 65 percent of the world’s uncultivated land, Africa is home to the globe’s agriculture. This is where tractors from Belarus have a future,” the message posted on the official Twitter account of the President of Kenya reads.
