The world’s colour authority says ‘the colour is one whose warm and welcoming embrace conveys a message of compassion and whose cosy sensibility brings people together and enriches the soul’. The institute believes that this colour creates a connection between taste, vision, touch and smell.

The main colour of the year is determined based on trend analysis and influences product development across various industries: fashion, graphic or industrial design, etc. It also influences purchasing decisions in many fields.
