More charging stations for electric cars

Six hundred charging stations will be available for electric cars countrywide by late 2021 – as informed by Belorusneft’s General Director, Aleksandr Lyakhov

According to the official, the current network numbers 457 stations but, by the end of the year, there will be 600 of them – enough to service all electric vehicles in the country. “Moreover, we are ahead of the schedule and I guess this creates good grounds for economic entities and individuals to turn to such transport,” he added.

Mr. Lyakhov also said that Belorusneft company plans to build fast charging complexes to cut the time necessary for charging and this avenue seems promising.
