Minsk National Airport summed up preliminary results for 2023

Minsk National Airport has summed up the preliminary results for last year: more than 20 percent more passengers passed through the Minsk air hub than in 2022

In total, 2,497,631 people were served by the airport last year, which was almost 430 thousand more than in 2022.

As reported by the airport's press service, the increase in passenger traffic is the result of intensive work to attract new airlines to Minsk, and it has become possible also thanks to the success of the airport's long-term partner, Belavia Airlines, which operates about 70 percent of all flights serviced by the hub.

In addition, the number of airlines operating regular flights to the airport increased to 11 last year. In early 2024, Azimut Airlines plans to resume flights from Mineralnye Vody, while a new Chinese carrier, Beijing Capital Airlines, will connect Minsk with the resort town of Sanya on Hainan Island.
