Minsk hosted meeting of NOC executive committee following the results of 2022
A meeting of the National Olympic Committee’s executive committee was held at the NOC headquarters in Minsk – as reported in the committee’s press service
The participants of the session summed up the NOC activities in 2022 and approved the plan for the next year. They were also reported on the activities of the NOC permanent commissions and approved the list of support programmes for federations (unions, associations) by type(s) of sports for 2023.
Moreover, the meeting approved the results of the activities of the Belarusian Olympic Academy, as well as Lebyazhy Park and SOK Olimpiysky unitary enterprises.
The NOC executive committee extended the temporary recognition of the following public associations: the Belarusian Fire and Rescue Sports Federation, the Federation of Outfit and Classic Powerlifting, the Belarusian Drafts Federation, the Belarusian Republican Federation of American Football, the Belarusian Federation of Pankration and Mixed Martial Arts. By the way, it was decided to revoke the temporary recognition from the Field Hockey Federation and the Flying Disc Federation.
The meeting also discussed a number of other issues on the NOC activities and its structural divisions.
