Mine defused in Black Sea by Turkish Defence Ministry

Turkish military neutralised a mine detected near the border with Bulgaria in the Black Sea, RIA Novosti reports

Earlier today, Turkey’s Ministry of National Defence informed on a mine detected off the coast of Igneada, close to the Bulgarian border. A Turkish underwater defence team (SAS) was sent to the scene to neutralise it.

As reported, two days before this incident, on March 26^th, a mine-like object was found in the coastal zone of Bosphorus Strait. As a result, Turkey blocked traffic through the strait and sent the country's underwater defence forces to neutralise it.
