Media: Slovenia secretly sent reconnaissance drones to Ukraine

Ukraine has received several Bramor reconnaissance drones manufactured by C-Astral from Slovenia, while the delivery was not announced earlier, TASS reports with reference to the Defense News publication

In particular, the company’s representative and UAV operator, Erney Moderts, said, “They [drones] are really used by Ukrainians, and they have been doing this for some time. We have some channels of communication with the troops who use drones to get feedback and make appropriate improvements.”

The man could not name the exact number of drones sent to Ukraine, he only noted that there had been several of them. Erney Moderts also did not disclose information about when exactly the transfer of drones had been carried out.

The publication did no manage to find out whether the company supplied the equipment independently or whether it was transferred by the Slovenian Defence Ministry from its own reserves. The military department refused to comment on the transfer of drones to Ukraine.

According to Defense News, Slovenia – although it supports Ukraine – is trying to keep most of the details about the supply of military aid secret. What is known for sure is that, last year, Ljubljana sent dozens of Yugoslav-made M-80 infantry fighting vehicles to Kiev.
