Media: Prince William back to royal work after Kate Middleton's surgery and King Charles' cancer

British Prince William returned to public duties on February 7th, following Kate's surgery amid the news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, Reuters reports

Prince William postponed all scheduled activities to take care of his three children after the 42-year-old Princess of Wales, formerly Kate Middleton, underwent a planned abdominal surgery on January 16th.

“His father has undergone treatment for an enlarged prostate at the same hospital as Kate, before Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that subsequent tests on the 75-year-old monarch had revealed he had a form of cancer,” the publication reads.

On February 7th, the 41-year-old heir to the throne made his first official public appearance. Prince William held an investiture, a state honours ceremony, at Windsor Castle and later attended a charity gala dinner for London’s Air Ambulance.
