Media: Mongolian PM discussed with Musk creation of centres in the country to send humans to Mars

Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene and American businessman and Tesla CEO Elon Musk have discussed the possibility of creating special training centres in the Mongolian part of the Gobi Desert to send people to Mars, RIA Novosti reports

The Wall Street Journal reported, “Oyun-Erdene said he and Musk, who has long dreamed of sending a man to Mars, recently discussed the possibility of establishing training centres in Mongolia.”

It is noted that the creation of this centre seems to be effective, because the terrain of the Gobi Desert, covering the southern part of Mongolia, is similar to the surface of Mars.
