MAZ third-generation buses in anti-sanction design ready for serial production

The plant is mastering production of vehicles which would not depend on the policies of unfriendly countries, and this work is being carried out in two directions: firstly, the search for suppliers of complex products that cannot be quickly mastered in Belarus and Russia and, secondly, domestic production of necessary components and mechanisms

“Third-generation buses in an anti-sanction design will use diesel fuel, natural gas and liquefied methane. For example, instead of MAZ-251 vehicles, tourist MAZ-350 buses will be produced, and their passenger capacity has been increased from 44 to 68 seats,” Aleksandr Myshko, the chief designer of Minsk Automobile Plant, managing company of the holding company BelavtoMAZ, explained.

A commercial batch of diesel buses is already successfully operated, and serial deliveries will be launched next year.
