Lukashenko voiced main requirements for managers

Professionalism, experience and ability to administrate are the main requirements for managers – as the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, said this as he presented a new Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, BelTA reports

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that formation of a competent personnel potential in the region is the primary task for new Governor of the Mogilev Region, Anatoly Isachenko. The President stressed, however: in no case it is necessary to act rushly but this does not mean also that everything should be paralyzed.

“People should always be given a chance. If a person pulls, you should keep him. If he fails to act on time, then either give him another job or decline his services if he is also indecent,” the Head of State said. “It is necessary to give way to young professionals but not to forget about experienced people. Professionalism, experience and the ability to administrate – no matter whether you are young or old. Being capable is the key.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko also noted that, since April 2019, almost the entire personnel register of the Head of State in the region has been replaced. There are too many vacancies available.

The Head of State drew attention to the fight against corruption. “Let’s say it openly: corruption manifestations have not been eliminated,” he noted.
