The Head of State opened the meeting with a hot topic: the harvesting campaign, “Some ‘experts’ say that the President likes agriculture more. I really love it, but no less industry. The country will live if industry functions well. Our major results come from industry.”

The President noted that the One District, One Project programme will be completed by 2030, “We will create new jobs in every district, wherever possible. We will have new promising production facilities.”

As for agriculture, this area is important for the President from the point of view of preserving villages. “We need to save our villages, as there can be no country without them. In order to save them, people must have jobs. A village is made up of people, and in order to save it and its people, jobs are needed – and this is primarily the sphere of agriculture,” he said.
