Grain harvests in the country should be at least 11 million tonnes – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s working trip to the Soligorsk District
The Head of State stressed that this year has become exemplary, but this is not a criterion for the future, “The weather was good, and our grain had enough moisture. It ripened, and wheat heads were hard. This does not mean that we will face the similar situation in the future, but the level you have reached [11 million tonnes] is the one that should not be lowered. It must be preserved for at least a couple of years.”
