Lukashenko sent condolences to Pakistani President

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent a message of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi in connection with the terrorist attack in the city of Khar – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

“It is with great sadness that people in Belarus learned about the tragedy in Khar, which took lives and maimed many civilians. Our country resolutely condemns any forms and manifestations of terrorism and extremism. The inhuman act in Khar on the eve of the general elections is an attack on the international foundations of democracy,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the Head of State expressed sincere condolences to the President and all the people of Pakistan, sent words of support and sympathy to those who lost their loved ones as a result of this terrible crime, and also wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
