Lukashenko sent condolences to Pakistan over deadly explosions

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, in connection with the explosions that claimed the lives and injured many civilians, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

“Acts of terrorism on Prophet Muhammad’s birthday are crimes against the whole of Islam and the religious world as a whole. I am sure that the perpetrators will be punished accordingly," the message of condolences reads.

In this difficult time for Pakistan, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, Aleksandr Lukashenko extended sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims, wished a speedy recovery to the injured, and also addressed words of support to Arif Alvi and the Pakistani people.
