Lukashenko’s working week to be devoted to economic and security issues

The working schedule of the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will be devoted to economic and security issues this week, BelTA reports with reference to his press secretary Natalya Eismont

"As for our upcoming schedule, first of all, these well definitely be the economic issues that the President has been dealing with most intensively lately. You know this and you can observe this. The President will be working here, in the capital, in the Palace of Independence, during this week – which will be devoted to economic issues, primarily the most pressing ones. Of course, there will be quite a serious conversation regarding security. It is necessary look into how the situation is currently developing,” Ms. Eismont said.

A number of large-scale events are also planned – i.e. in the field of agriculture, despite the off-season.

"This is a very important preparatory period. As the President always says: [it is necessary] to lay the foundation for our future work. I would like to announce that – as far as I know – there will be a very serious conversation on an agricultural issue in the near future, and it is now seriously being prepared for,” Ms. Eismont informed.
