The Head of State noted in the beginning of the meeting, “I asked you to – jointly with interested and responsible persons – seriously think of how to build a system of working with delegates of the Belarusian People's Congress. We also need to determine the Secretariat structure, outline how we will act, and define in general what this structure should look like. In short, the structure and the system are in focus. There was enough time to determine the directions of our activities, and how the work with delegates will develop.”

According to the President, it is necessary to plan the work of the Presidium of the Belarusian People’s Congress and its delegates in general.

“With this in view, I will ask you to briefly report on what has been done, and what needs to be done. What I can do, in particular, to put this process into operation? Actually, the connection is the key: yours, mine – with the Presidium and delegates of the Belarusian People’s Congress, so that the latter do not feel detached from the issues they need to solve. It is very important for us to show the public and our delegates that they should not replace other authorities,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
