Lukashenko reminded of iron discipline during his trip to Postavy District

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, visited the Volokhi dairy complex of Khotily-Agro JSC in the Postavy District. As he focused on feed safekeeping, the Head of State expressed criticism – drawing attention to the fact that, when the haylage is put into pits, it is flooded with rain, and cattle is later fed with such rotten product, and then farmers heroically counteract the loss of cattle and invest huge funds into village development.

With this in view, the President voiced personal instructions to the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Vladimir Andreichenko, who is overseeing the Vitebsk Region, “You are responsible for the Vitebsk Region. Iron discipline is a must! If army is needed, we will involve it. If you need the police, it will come.”

The Head of State also drew attention to some other shortcomings that he could observe locally, including from a helicopter, “There is not a single tractor in the field. Straw rolls are in places from which nobody will ever take them away. Why haven’t you chopped it, scattered across the field and plowed? This makes no problem. Nobody needs such a work, and this is what is noticed from the first sight.”
