Lukashenko received President of Belarus’ National Olympic Committee

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, received President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko, BelTA reports

As the Head of State noted, he is well aware of the state of affairs in sports in Belarus. Therefore, the main topic of the conversation was the situation with Belarusian sports in the international arena, including the issues of the upcoming 2024 Olympics. Both state bodies and public organisations are actively involved in the relevant activities. The President was interested in how the work and interaction with the NOC is organised here.

Moreover, the meeting discussed the preparation and holding of the II CIS Games, which will be hosted by Minsk in August 2023. Earlier, the President of Belarus stressed that these international competitions would become a serious criterion for the entire sports industry in the country.
