Lukashenko, Rahmon talked over phone

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, had a telephone conversation with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

Aleksandr Lukashenko warmly congratulated his colleague on his anniversary.

The two leaders compared notes on the main issues of bilateral relations. The President of Belarus will soon pay an official visit to Tajikistan, and – as noted – not only the bilateral agenda, development of trade and economic co-operation, but also topical international issues are expected to be discussed then in detail.
