Lukashenko proposed Benin to develop co-operation in agriculture, industry and education

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, congratulated the President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, on Independence Day – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

"The Republic of Belarus pays considerable attention to strengthening ties with the states of West Africa, and I am convinced that the expansion of co-operation between Minsk and Porto-Novo in agriculture, industry, education and other areas of mutual interest will contribute to improving the well–being of the citizens of our countries," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State wished Patrice Talon health and happiness, as well as peace, progress and prosperity to Benin.
