Lukashenko praised courage, bravery and high level of training of Interior Ministry soldiers

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated servicemen and veterans on Day of Interior Ministry Troops’ Formation, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"You carry out difficult service around the clock, ensuring public safety, protecting especially important state facilities, neutralising and destroying explosive objects. You pay great attention to military-patriotic clubs, educating our boys and girls who are future defenders of our Fatherland," the congratulatory message reads.

As the President stressed, the courage, bravery, patriotism, high level of training and combat capabilities of the internal troops’ soldiers are an indestructible foundation for ensuring law and order and protecting the peaceful life of Belarusian citizens.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed special gratitude to the veterans who made an invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the internal troops. "As a baton of valour and honour, you are passing the traditions and your invaluable life experience to our new young generation,” the President noted, adding that military brotherhood, strength and patience, energy and self-sacrifice, professionalism of all generations of servicemen of the internal troops – including ordinary soldiers and generals – deserve great respect.

The Head of State thanked them all for their dedication, honest and impeccable service, and wished them good health and further success in the noble cause of serving the Motherland, "Take care of yourself, of those whom you love, and of our native Belarus!"
