Lukashenko on West’s attempts to economically strangle HTP and how Belarus will respond

During today’s meeting to discuss draft decrees on the development of the High Tech Park, the President of Belarus spoke about the attempts of the West to economically strangle the Belarusian HTP and our response

In particular, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, “At the moment, our Park – which for a long time was called by authoritative specialised publications ‘a paradise for programmers’ and ‘Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe’ – is being strangled economically. Such attempts are being made. We are accustomed to accept such challenges and adequately respond to them. If they do not want to see us in one part of the planet, we naturally go to another part.”
