Lukashenko: new level for Belarus-India relations possible

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, on the national holiday: Republic Day – as the Belarusian leader’s press service informed BelTA

"For almost three decades, the relations between our friendly countries have been an example of beneficial and sustainable co-operation. Belarus and India have achieved certain results of interaction in political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres over this time,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted that bilateral trade is developing dynamically, while business contacts are expanding. However, time demands that it is important to maintain momentum, keep moving forward and strengthen partnerships every day.

"Implementation of major investment projects, including in the promising pharmaceutical industry, will enable us to advance our relations to a qualitatively new level. I am convinced that we have good reason for this,” the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished excellent health and further successes to the President of India, prosperity and power to the country, peace and prosperity to its people.
