“A campaign has been launched inside the country to lure out money by fraudsters, to involve our youth in illegal activities and extremism,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. “The neighbouring states’ special services are behind all such facts, and our foreign policy response to all this bacchanalia is rooted in the accelerated development of relations with our allies. The so-called turn to the East in our politics is the most reasonable reality dictated by the spirit of the times. After all, we know that the sun sets in the west and rises in the east.”
