Lukashenko made decision to pardon 14 foreign citizens, including those convicted of espionage

At the request of the US President and other heads of state, as a gesture of goodwill and based on the principles of humanity, the President of Belarus has made a decision to pardon a number of foreign citizens convicted of espionage, participation in extremist and terrorist activities and who committed other criminal acts on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

A total of fourteen foreign citizens have been pardoned. Among them are six citizens of Lithuania, two – of Latvia, two – of Poland, two – of Germany, one – of France, and one – of the United Kingdom.
