Lukashenko: I hope Belarus and Spain will remain good partners and maintain mutual interest

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has extended National Day greetings to the people of the Kingdom of Spain – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

The Head of State noted that diplomatic relations between the two countries were established 30 years ago, but – for Belarusians – Spain has long been known as a state with rich history and unique culture, cordial and hospitable people.

"I hope that, despite the geographical distance and difficult geopolitical situation, the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of Spain will remain good partners and maintain mutual interest in maintaining and developing bilateral co-operation for the benefit of both peoples," the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished all residents of Spain good health, peace, stability and prosperity.
