Lukashenko extends Independence Day greetings to Armenian President and Prime Minister

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President of Belarus has sent greetings to President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan as the country celebrates Independence Day – as reported in the Belarusian leader’s press service

“Our states are historically bound by strong friendship and are aimed at developing a trusting and mutually beneficial dialogue,” the congratulatory message addressed to the President of Armenia reads. “I am convinced that the constructive nature of the Belarusian-Armenian co-operation will further strengthen the economies of the two countries and increase the welfare of citizens while enriching the relations between Minsk and Yerevan with new promising projects.”

In congratulating Nikol Pashinyan, Aleksandr Lukashenko highly appreciated the established bilateral relations based on good traditions of friendship, support and respect. “Minsk is interested in the further development of the interstate dialogue and maintaining the high dynamics of bilateral contacts,” the Belarusian leader stressed. “I am confident that strengthening interaction across various fields will make it possible to most effectively realise the existing potential of collaboration for the sake of the prosperity of the people of Belarus and Armenia.”
