Lukashenko expressed condolences to Rahmon over victims of natural disasters in Tajikistan

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent condolences to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in connection with death of people as a result of natural disasters in the country – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

“It is with deep pain and sorrow that the Republic of Belarus learnt the sad news about the numerous human casualties and large-scale destruction as a result of natural disasters that took place in the Republic of Tajikistan. In this difficult and sad hour for your country, on behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, I express my deep condolences to you, as well as to the families and friends of the victims,” Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined.

The Belarusian Head of State wished a speedy recovery to all the victims, and the country – the restoration of damaged infrastructure and a return to the usual rhythm of life.
