Lukashenko: creative achievements of award laureates are life-giving source that fills the treasury of national culture
At a ceremony presenting the Spiritual Revival awards, special prizes to art luminaries, and the Belarusian Sports Olympus awards, the President addressed the laureates with special warmth
“Your creative achievements are a life-giving source that fills the treasury of national culture. I know very well that everything you do is not for rewards or material gain. Your professional, life path is chosen by your heart. That’s why you, like no one else, are worthy of high recognition and deep respect of people. With your spiritual, creative and professional achievements, you create the future of our Belarus. I am sincerely proud of you, and I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for your work.”
The Head of State noted that he speaks about today’s laureates with special respect, “These are people passionate about their work, who by their own example set the ideals of mercy and kindness in modern society, raising the younger generation as patriots and conveying to them great and sincere love for their native land. By implementing socially significant cultural and educational projects, you help preserve the historical truth and ancient heritage of the Belarusian people.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that the Belarusian Sports Olympus award honours those who rose to the top of sports skills, confirmed their highest class with medals at the most important competitions, dedicated their life to training athletes and get high results from this work.
The President addressed sincere words of congratulations to all laureates, “I am very pleased to congratulate you on such high awards. Let these awards become not only a bright result of the past year, but also an incentive for new achievements and victories for the sake of prosperity of our beloved Belarus.
