Lukashenko congratulated President of Nicaragua and people of this country on Independence Day

On behalf of all Belarusians and himself, President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the President of Nicaragua, Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra, and the fraternal people of this country on Independence Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Effective socio-economic policy, consistent activity of Nicaragua in the international arena with adherence to the principles of sovereign equality of states are respected and supported in Belarus," the congratulatory message reads.

The Belarusian leader is convinced that the intensification of contacts between Minsk and Managua will give tangible results in the near future, contribute to the stable and creative development of the two countries and the growth of the citizens’ well-being.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra good health and fruitful work, also wishing peace and prosperity to the people of Nicaragua.
