Lukashenko congratulated President of Kenya on 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has sent congratulations to President of Kenya William Ruto on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

“During this period, we’ve developed strong friendly ties based on trust, respect and mutual desire to develop co-operation for the benefit of both peoples,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Belarusian Head of State noted that Minsk-Nairobi dialogue is currently consistent and progressive, with priority areas for joint work identified, including the mechanisation of Kenya’s agriculture, the supply of Belarusian food products, and the development of business contacts.

“I’m convinced that the time has come to convert the potential accumulated over thirty years into concrete results,” the Belarusian leader underlined. “I propose to substantively discuss all possible areas of common interest during your visit to Minsk, which will take our interaction to a qualitatively new level.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished William Ruto strong health and success, and peace and prosperity to the Kenyan people.
