Lukashenko congratulated people of Croatia on Statehood Day

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the people of Croatia on Statehood Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"Despite today's challenges, the peoples of Belarus and Croatia remain true to themselves and the Motherland, demonstrate peacefulness and feel responsible for the future of their countries. Belarusians respect the ability of Croats to listen to others and at the same time not to replace their own opinion with someone else's, the desire to preserve themselves and their vision of processes, which often goes against the trends in modern Europe," the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that it is necessary to give preference to trust, good-neighbourliness and co-operation in bilateral relations, to improve trade and economic relations, to promote liaisons in the supply of goods and services.

"We support the development of mutual business contacts and the organisation of joint events through chambers of commerce and industry, and companies," the Head of State noted.

The President wished the people of Croatia peace, harmony and prosperity.
