Lukashenko congratulated Dinamo members and veterans with 100th anniversary of the organisation’s formation
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the members and veterans of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Society Dinamo on the 100th anniversary of its formation, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
"Since the first days of its creation, Dinamo has symbolised youth, health, strength and determination in achieving sporting heights. By continuing the victorious traditions, a whole galaxy of outstanding Dinamo athletes has been brought up in Belarus on this basis, and they have made a significant contribution to strengthening the image of our country in the international arena owing to their achievements and records," the congratulatory message reads. "Along with this, Dinamo members ensure the fulfilment of the state-important tasks dealing with sports and combat training of law enforcement and security personnel, as well as development of children's sports and promotion of the healthy lifestyle."
The Head of State addressed special congratulations to the veterans who faithfully served their native sports community and the great sports of Belarus, laying a solid foundation for Dinamo’s present successes.
"I express my confidence that the legendary sports society will continue to actively develop mass physical culture and sports, contribute in every way to strengthening the health of the nation," the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the friendly Dinamo family good health, prosperity, good luck, new records and bright victories.
