Lukashenko congratulated Bola Tinubu on assuming office of President of Nigeria and invited him to visit Minsk
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Bola Tinubu on assuming the office of President of Nigeria, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
"I am convinced that your work as the Head of State will contribute to your country’s further development and prosperity," the congratulatory message reads.
As noted by Aleksandr Lukashenko, over the thirty-year period of Belarusian-Nigerian co-operation, the two countries have laid a solid foundation for comprehensive and mutually beneficial partnership.
“I am confident that the established basis will help bring co-operation in the areas of supply and maintenance of equipment, education, healthcare and maternal and child health, industry, agriculture and food security to a qualitatively new level," the Belarusian leader added. "I hope for further strengthening of traditionally friendly relations for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Nigeria."
Aleksandr Lukashenko invited Bola Tinubu to visit Minsk at a convenient time for him to discuss the full range of bilateral contacts in person.
The President of Belarus wished the Nigerian leader good health and success in his responsible government activities.
