Lukashenko: co-operation between Belarusian and Russian regions resulted in significant increase in mutual trade

Co-operation between the regions of Belarus and Russia has provided a significant increase in mutual trade – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during his today’s talks with Vladimir Putin in an expanded format

The Head of State stressed, “Only recently have we properly assessed the potential of the regions. It is the co-operation between the regions of Belarus and Russia that has provided a significant increase in mutual trade.”

The President recalled that events of the Forum of Regions will be held in Vitebsk, Polotsk and Novopolotsk on June 27th-28th, and he invited Vladimir Putin, members of the Russian Government, governors and heads of Russian enterprises to take part in their work.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished success to the new members of the Russian Government, “I am confident in maintaining continuity in terms of priority consideration of issues of Belarusian-Russian co-operation.”
