“I am very glad that in the difficult year of 2022, despite various troubles and sanctions restrictions, we remain faithful to a wonderful tradition on the eve of November 7th,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

Our country and its people have received the most wonderful gift that we made with our own hands and minds. The Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation – unrivalled in Europe and in the post-Soviet space – has been established in Belarus. This is evidence of the highest relations between Belarus and China.

According to the Belarusian leader, BNBC is a landmark project for deep processing of grain to obtain essential amino acids. These are highly productive compound feeds and premixes that farmers around the world need, “We say that in the current conditions grain is the new world gold. Without exaggeration, the BNBC produce is real faceted diamonds. It is hard to believe, but until March 2019, when the foundation was established, there was an open field here. A lot of work has been done in three and a half years, and today we are opening a whole complex of plants for the production of animal fodder and amino acids. I underline that this was the grand opening of already tested production facilities.”

On the President’s instruction, since December 2021, a phased launch of each of them has been carried out. BNBC has already sold over $100m of products in the pilot production mode. In 2023, at full capacity of the enterprise, this figure will grow to $1.3bn.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that this production will solve several important economic issues, “The first is providing animal husbandry with the necessary fodder and amino acids, thus minimising imports and increasing exports. The second is the creation of new jobs.”

The company currently employs about 1,700 people, and the average salary exceeds Br2,000. There is an excellent social package here, there are many open vacancies, and the labour team is friendly and purposeful.

“The main task facing the leadership is to ensure the stable and efficient operation of this excellent and very promising enterprise, to find partners both in the domestic and foreign markets,” the President underlined.
