Lukashenko: Belarus appreciates Ulaanbaatar's pragmatic approach to foreign policy
Ulaanbaatar's pragmatic approach to foreign policy is close and understandable to Belarus, which really appreciates it – as stated by President Aleksandr Lukashenko in a conversation with media representatives following his today’s talks with President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh

The Head of State expressed gratitude to the Mongolian side for its warm welcome, “I was deeply impressed by the hospitality of the people and the beauty of the nature of the country of the eternal blue sky. This is the first high-level visit to your wonderful country since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Mongolia, like Belarus, has great neighbours and many sincere friends around the world. “Therefore, Ulaanbaatar's pragmatic approach to foreign policy is close and understandable to us. We appreciate it greatly. It is very difficult for you, and we are in the same situation – having no access to the sea. You are trapped between two empires, as they say, and the same is with us: on the one hand, we have one empire, and on the other – the second one, the European Union. We can say with confidence that, globally, our countries have not had and do not have any problems or discord. Our Belarusian delegation is representative, and it speaks for itself – testifying to our most serious intentions to develop co-operation with Mongolia in a wide range of areas,” he stated.
